Our story
barra is a multi-roaster specialty coffee shop. Our dream is to bring specialty coffee in an intimate, vibey setting where you can catch up with a friend, escape from the workday, or learn about trends in the coffee world.
Australian inspired?
We are a family owned and operated shop. My wife is an Australian citizen and grew up in Brisbane, Queensland. In 2024, we visited the Sunshine Coast and fell in love with the Aussie lifestyle - coffee and all. The idea of barra was sparked on that trip, and our name honours the street we stayed on in Coolum Beach (Barra Crescent).
